Hana Nai'a Organic Jojoba:
Our Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) is certified 100% organic by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association which the USDA National Organic Program has authorized to certify growers, processors, and handlers. Jojoba seeds contain significant quantities of liquid wax esters.  Jojoba esters are similar to the natural restorative esters our sebacceous glands produce for our skin.  Pure Jojoba also contains alpha, delta, and gamma tocopherols, all natural forms of the anti-oxidant, Vitamin E.  Please note that pure Jojoba is not an "oil".  Sometimes companies label their product as "Jojoba Oil" which could be Jojoba blended with triglyceride oils which can be harmful to your skin.  Hana Naia only uses 100% pure Organic Jojoba.
